This is a magic summer-time activity for wildlife loving explorers...watching a caterpillar turn into a butterfly. We'd watched our tiny and very hungry caterpillars chomp through their food; set up camp in their cosy cocoons and then pop out as beautiful butterflies. We released them on a sunny day out in the meadow...like all good guests they stopped to say toodles first.
